POSITION SUMMARY:

Supervise and manage efficient and efficiently at  multiple facility sites within an identified geographic region, including staff, equipment, budgeting and instrumentation to ensure that the AES operational model is in place and properly supported by all AES personnel under his/her supervision.  Responsible for the renewal of AES Hospital contracts and expansion of services for each assigned location. Responsible for the completion and review of management reports to appropriate AES staff and hospital managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Masters degree with a minimum of two years' supervisory experience in the medical field or a healthcare organization.
  • Minimum of 3  years of staff supervisory experience
  • Clinical experience in a hospital or OR setting required
  • Knowledge of laparoscopic procedures preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skills in computer software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sales experience helpful

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, walk, sit and stand for extended periods throughout the work day.
  • Occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.  Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position which includes adherence to time constraints.
  • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff at AES and sites.
  • Must possess senses (sight and hearing) or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of the position can be fully met.
  • Able to carry, reach, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
  • Must demonstrate consistent regular attendance during working hours.
  • Minimum of 80% out of town, overnight travel

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Moderate to loud noise levels
  • Exposure to cool environment
  • May be exposed to chemicals
  • Ability and willingness to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary
  • Same day, out-of-town travel for meetings using a personal vehicle.
